With over 40 years of senior management experience in payments and financial services, Scott is an experienced strategy consultant whose opinion is sought out for his perspective on the payments industry. In other roles as a board member and advisor to CEO's, entrepreneurs, venture and private equity investors, Scott brings a uniquely informed perspective on electronic payments and related technologies. Scott was a co-founder of Glenbrook Partners, a leading payments industry consulting firm that focuses on serving the needs of payments professionals globally, and is co-author of the book:"Payments Systems in the U.S."- now available in a third edition in paperback and Kindle e-book editions. Scott has been a board member of several companies including Telebit, DIgiCash, ValiCert, Com21, nCircle, CyberSource, and Payoneer. He has also been an angel investor in many companies and an advisor to venture capital and private equity investors. Scott has served as an expert witness in payments systems, credit/debit/prepaid cards, and banking networks with testifying experience. He is co-inventor of US Patent 6,332,126 and US Patent 7,840,459.
