About Scott Long

As a military professional and personnel manager in the United States Army, I've led major projects in personnel training as well as aviation maintenance management. Through an endless desire to learn, teach, coach and mentor I've developed the root skills to transition into the corporate sector. I have been given the opportunity to excel in many positions in my career thus far - aviator, shift supervisor, department manager and above all a leader. As a result, I have the unique ability to multi-task, and solve complex issues through deliberate and calculated analysis. My value to an organization comes down the the following- I want to win and I want others around me to win as well. Winning means you're the best at something, therefore I want to win so I can improve my organization- I get anxious and nervous when a day at work is quiet. A quiet day equates to a problem that I'm unaware of- I am calm under pressure and thrive on chaotic issues requiring resolution- I want to learn. That means I want to learn my job and the jobs around me.
