About Scott Lowe

I'm a 20+ year veteran of the IT industry and a focused technologist that embraces and encourages change, growth, and evolution within the ranks of the IT professionals in the world. Through my books, video training series, blog posts, presentations, and other efforts I seek to help others expand their knowledge and understanding of topics such as cloud computing, networking, virtualization, storage, servers, and other enterprise technologies. As part of that effort to help the IT community, I maintain https://blog.scottlowe.org, a technology-centric weblog providing information, insight, and technical knowledge on various solutions, including cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes), virtualization (KVM, VMware vSphere), open source tools (Terraform, Ansible, Vagrant, and others), networking (Open vSwitch, Linux networking), and other technology areas.I'm especially good at speaking in non-technical terms to individuals outside the IT industry and enjoy giving presentations and demonstrations of enterprise technologies. This is a talent that I leverage in support of the broader IT community by speaking at conferences, user group meetings, and other events.Specialties: Virtualization, KVM, Kubernetes, Docker, Networking, Open vSwitch, Operating Systems, Linux, Cloud Computing, AWS, Azure, CLI
