About Scott Lydon

After over 20 years within the energy sector, I have developed many transferrable skills which are wide ranging. I started my carrier working for Powergen’s Business Team, long before they become EON. I then went on to create one of the first energy brokerages of its kind in the UK. I did all of this at the age of 18 years old and following this I moved to various consultants and helping them scale and grow, while adapting to changes in the marketplace over time. Starting The Energy Depot in 2019 and during one of the hardest periods for any business allowed me to dig deep and never give up. Fast forward to now and the creation of the Global Utility Depot, and the Next Gen Eco Group which has several companies within it, I want to be able to offer the very best to clients and staff alike. We now have over 6 stands alone, and self-supporting companies. Our companies include Business Energy, Renewables, Property, Maintenance, and electrical services. We want to continue to offer great opportunities across a broad range of sectors. I believe in hard work, dedication, and to always try to do the right thing. I understand being a leader is less about what others can do for you, but more about what you can do for them. By leading by example, it allows those around me to carry the same message forward as I do.
