About Scott Marentette

For over 20 years, I have been cutting a path through the intersection of people, operations, business, and governance across Public, Non-Profit, Private, and Academic sectors. Most recently, I have been channeling my various skills into my role as Manager of Operations and Engagement while also designing cooperative governance and organizational practices in different settings. In my view, enterprises are ecosystems that thrive when properly cultivated. People know me to excel in distilling research, analysis, and synthesis into meaningful strategy through a holistic perspective. What really drives me is crystallizing team connections when turning research and planning into action. By fostering engaging relationships with all stakeholders based on inclusive participation, I help drive results that exceed expectations. In brief, I’m a purpose-driven transformational leader and uniter. Some Highlights: • Influenced 17-member Board to improve governance and best practices, coordinated committees, and integrated Operations to meet organizational mandates and project deliverables • Operational Lead on 3-day conference ‘Development Cooperation in a Time of Geopolitical Instability’ involving ~170 speakers and attendees • As Policy Coordinator (volunteer) of Post-Capitalist Task Force, spearheading change by co-authoring cooperative governance policy for organization DiEM25’s social movement while also putting cooperative principles into practice
