About Scott Mather

My role as Director, Eastern Ontario for Pinchin Ltd. includes supervising over 50 employees in the Ottawa and Kingston offices. I focus primarily on transactional due diligence project services, overseeing all professional and financial aspects of the Ottawa office, and provide management support to Pinchin’s regional offices in Eastern and Northeastern Ontario, and offer technical and managerial services to higher profile provincial and national projects, including regulatory projects. As Director, it is my responsibility to provide leadership to staff. I also act as a Senior Project Manager for Phase Environmental Site Assessments for key clients. I bring practicality to client issues, and can simplify complex scientific and compliance issues, making them accessible for non-technical clients. At Pinchin, we work hard to provide practical, well thought-out solutions that benefit the client. In my 18 years with Pinchin, service offerings in Ottawa have grown significantly from a hazardous materials office to include environmental due diligence and regulatory development projects, property condition assessment and building science services, mould and IEQ services, and in-house geotechnical work.
