About Scott McCally

Throughout my career as an entrepreneur, engineer, and executive leader; I have been fortunate to learn incredible lessons from mentors and mentees, clients and employees, friends and foes, young and old, conservative and liberal, the hopeful and the hopeless. These lessons have been both painful and triumphant, sometimes in close proximity. The greatest lesson I ever learned was humility. It's the key to true wisdom. Humility empties ourselves of self so that we can see and understand things we were blind to before in places we're unable or unwilling to look. Humility connects us to the world around us in intimate ways that can lead to powerful relationships and unbelievably creative ideas. As a proud member of Generation X, I grew up loving Rocky. I love both the fictional story of Rocky and the non-fictional background story surrounding Sylvester Stallone writing and ultimately starring in arguably one of the best movie series of all time. Rocky Balboa,"It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward." Be humble, hungry, and smart.
