About Scott McMeekin

Originally from Delaware, I grew up bass & Striper fishing. In 2002, my family and I moved to Florida, where my passion for fishing and the ocean flourished. Shortly after relocating, my mother and father opened a boat dealership in Tampa, which began my avocation in the boating industry. My father and I took courses at Mercury Marine Institute, receiving numerous certifications. While I was attending college in Tallahassee, Fl, my father became ill and was forced to close his business in 2008. After returning from college, I got right back to working with boats (which didn't seem like work at all). I worked for a few different marinas and boat/yacht dealerships, as well as participate in off site events, such as bill fishing tournaments, inshore fishing tournaments, Yamaha Demo events, boat shows and more, learning as much as I possibly could about power boats. Working along the sidelines, I was able to see the joy that a boat purchase brought to the lives of clients and their families and I knew that I wanted to take part in helping to deliver such results. I have been a full time boat sales representative since the beginning of 2013. I do my absolute best to assist my clients into their perfect boat. I offer professional and knowledgeable guidance every step of the way (before, during, and after the transaction), help with the sale of their boat, financing support, hands on instructions on how everything works on their new boat so that they're completely comfortable with all operations and systems, and superior customer service throughout and after the purchase or sale of the vessel.
