With more than 30 years of executive management experience and a detailed knowledge of the healthcare and technology markets in both Canada and the United States, Scott has developed and managed action plans and strategies to transition numerous North American community-based and acute care institutions from paper-based health records management to electronic health record (EHR) systems. He has also developed strategic planning and business transformation processes, performed market and competitive analyses, defined marketing plans, developed promotional materials and identified investment opportunities for medium and high tech corporations. Scott’s knowledge of health records management combined with a proven talent in analyzing abstract information has assisted leading edge institutions in clearly understanding the ROI of future Electronic Content Management and Enterprise Imaging Systems. His project experience has been acquired during mandates with some of the most reputed corporations and healthcare institutions in both Canada and the United States where he has managed and facilitated the implementation of multi-million dollar content management and EHR applications. Scott is a Certified Professional in Health Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS), has a certificate on Artificial Intelligence from MIT Sloan & MIT CSAIL, is a Certified Document Imagining Architect Plus (CDIA+), is fluently bilingual (English/French) and also speaks functional Italian.
