About Scott McPhail

I have been in the Armed Forces for the past 24 Years, 13 of which I was employed as a Communications Specialist. My expertise lay with ICT, mainly Analogue and Digital systems and was responsible for Establishing and Maintaining vital ICT links within my Organisation often in hazardous and high stakes environments allowing the Executive to receive vital information to make informed decisions. Over the past 11 years I have been employed in various management roles and progressed to a Senior Management level within my Organisation. These roles have involved Resource Management (Logistics and Manpower) including responsibilities, such as Risk Management, maintaining unit cohesion, Planning and delivering training and providing training support to a work force of 120+. During these years I have gained a wealth of Leadership and Management Skills which coupled with experience from my other roles has enabled me to become a well-respected member of my organisation by both the workforce and Senior Management. I have an aptitude for communications and organisation in particular planning and problem solving. I believe these skills could be put to best use within the IT sector.
