About Scott McPhaull

Prior to working for Prince George's County, I worked in Tampa, Florida for URS Greiner as an inspector and claims engineer for Florida State Highway Administration projects, immediately after undergraduate work from Florida A&M. I worked as an inspector at Prince George's County for the Department of Public Works from - 2003. I inspected Right-Of-Way construction including storm drains, curb and gutter, roadway construction, utility installation, street trees and sidewalks. I then worked as an engineer at Prince George's County DPW & T from 2003 - 2013. As an engineer I reviewed and approved plans for permits. I became a chief inspector in 2013 and managed three public works inspectors within the county's Second District. With over two hundred projects, and including the Woodmore Town Center Development, this vast area was professionally maintained and managed. I became the project manager of the County's Deficient Pond Program in 2014 and have been overseeing the remediation of the five hundred plus storm water management ponds and facilities. Combining my work history, education, and communication skills will allow me to perform ideally as a project manager in any specialty and for any particular product being developed.
