About Scott Merrow

Making a real, tangible difference as an executive leader in the nonprofit sector has always been critically important to me. This has been my guiding value throughout my 20+ yrs of nonprofit leadership driving impactful change to improve the financial health, operations, programs, visibility, funding, and impact of organizations with a social mission—primarily those devoted to youth service, child development, and helping society’s most vulnerable and underserved populations. Since my earliest years as a camp director right through my more recent COO and executive director roles, I have brought new life to many organizations: developing new opportunities and revenue streams, sourcing grants and donors, enhancing programs, building mission-dedicated teams, transforming operations and facilities, cultivating partnerships, and inspiring diverse stakeholders to work together toward a shared vision. Throughout, I’ve earned a reputation as a charismatic thought leader and inspirational public speaker able to clearly and powerfully articulate vision and goals.
