Served for 11 years in the New Zealand Defence Force as an Engineer Officer and Project Officer over the period 1996 - 2007 with operational deployment to Sinai and Afghanistan, focussed on vertical construction, procurement, contract management and corporate administration. Employed by Professional Service Solutions (PSS), contracted to UNOPS in Kandahar (Afghanistan) as Southern Regional Engineer for USAID Secondary Roads programme in 2007 and continued as Project Manager for Civil Construction with McBreen Jenkins and Transfield in Tauranga, NZ in 2008. Deployed to Port Vila, Vanuatu, with NZDF as Officer Commanding VMF Engineers 2008 - 2011 for capacity development and project management of vertical construction projects. Established Beacon Business Solutions in Vanuatu as Director, focused on project management, asset management and procurement as a Project Management Professional (PMP). Employed by DFAT as a Technical Advisor for asset management and procurement management to support delivery of health programs from 2011 - 2014. Team Leader for the DFAT Vanuatu Health Resource Mechanism from March 2014 - October 2019. Managing Director of CrossFit FMTG (established October 2019) and Senior Manager of Vanuatu Australia Policing and Justice Program (VAPJP) Phase 1 and 2 from October 2019. Transition Manager for VAPJP Phase 3 from 01 January 2025 with appointment as Interim Team Leader from July 2025 until current while supporting Business Development and Palladium Infrastructure opportunities in Vanuatu and the broader Pacific.
