About Scott Moore

My mission is to collaborate in the leadership of non-profit organizations to maximize their impact in areas of equity, justice, service and education through strategic leadership, powerful communication, courageous advocacy and compassionate relational connection. I am the Communications Director and have been the Spiritual Life Pastor at Revive Church of Colorado, where I have developed spiritual formation programs, curriculum, and teachers. I have lead staff and volunteers, coordinate churchwide communications, do public speaking, and serve on the senior leadership team. I am passionate about helping people put their faith into meaningful action and helping them think more deeply about issues of faith connections to justice, compassion and a good life. I am also an adjunct faculty at Grand Canyon University and Denver Seminary, where I teach New Testament courses in English and Spanish, online and in person. I have been involved in higher education for more than 18 years, and I have a master's degree in Bible/Biblical Studies from Denver Seminary, and I am a PhD candidate in Biblical Interpretation-New Testament from the University of Denver/Iliff School of Theology Joint PhD Program. I have written and published study guides on ecclesiology and the New Testament in Spanish, and I have expertise in cross-cultural engagement and adult education. My mission is to equip and empower the next generation of leaders with biblical knowledge, skills, and values.
