About Scott Mulgrew

I am a medically retired RAAF AEA (Airborne Electronics Analyst) qualified on all sensors on AP3C Orion and P8A Poseidon. I have operational and high end exercise experience in complex multi service and multi national environments in; Anti Submarine Warfare Anti Surface Warfare Border Protection Electronic Warfare Search and rescue Overland ISR (Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance) Maritime ISR I am highly driven, confident and adaptable. I enjoy challenging experiences both within my core skills and outside of them. As a lead sensor operator I was responsible for the management of the other AEA on the aircraft both in their professional development and as subordinates. A lead operator’s input is crucial the success of each sortie and influences the crew from the planning stage through to tactical decisions and awareness on station. Due to the wide array of roles we are exposed to I am comfortable in the joint environment and ensuring my customers needs are met. In addition to my direct flying experience I embarked on a 3 day submarine vs submarine serial aboard an Australian submarine in order to open the lines of communication between the RAAF and RAN. I am a former flight commander at Combat Survival Training School (CSTS) and qualified as a SERE (Survive, evade, resist, escape) instructor. I have experience working in the operations cell during ADF operations whilst in uniform and also have worked as EXCON, HICON/LOCON on various Army and Army/Navy joint exercises including script writing and exercise execution. Most notably on Talisman Sabre ‘23 I am currently working as a contractor and consultant for various companies including my own enterprise. I enjoy working with engineers and c suite executives adapting engineering solutions to operational challenges, streamlining GUI via UX/UI and forecasting application of products to real world scenarios.
