About Scott Murrin

I have over 10 years experience in the Health and Safety field. I started of my working career as a machine operator for Church’s shoes before moving in to warehousing. In 2013 I studied my Health and Safety qualifications whilst working for a Technical Solutions company who specialised in Building Maintenance and Facility Services. I started my Health and Safety career as a Health and Safety Assistant before moving in to a Project Health and Safety Manager role where I would oversee small and large projects at corporate clients such a Marks and Spencer, The Museum of London and Highcross Shopping Centre. I managed projects such as LED lighting overhauls, AC replacements and building refurbishments. After 6 years I progressed to move in to the manufacturing industry as a Health and Safety Officer at a world leading Pneumatics company where I was responsible for the management of Health and Safety for the whole company and would deal with numerous ongoing works and contractors on a daily basis. I was part of a team who achieved the ISO 45001 standard for the company for the very first time. I then decided to venture into the construction industry and following works at various sites, I worked as a Health and Safety Consultant for Acorn Safety Services and I am currently working as a HSEQT Advisor for MIDA Civil Engineering. Qualifications - NEBOSH H&S, NEBOSH Fire, IOSH, CSCS, SMSTS, Lloyds Register Internal Auditor, City & Guilds Fire Door Inspection. Technical member of IOSH. Studying for my NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
