I have been an IT professional for the past 20 years, but an IT enthusiast for most of my adult life. My career has been a dynamic progression from hands-on involvement in actual technology, to a focus of managing IT projects and team leadership. I am dedicated to constant improvement, attention to nuance and steadfast integrity both in terms of my work and my personal development. I have managed high profile, heavily capitalized IT projects, participated in numerous significant network upgrade and conversion initiatives and have taken initiative to improve and customize various tools, and operational systems to the advantage of department-specific customers and the company as a whole. I have spent the past several years refining my skills as a Senior Analyst / Project Manager working on Infrastructure related projects. I have been the Project Manager for efforts ranging from the deployment of VoIP telephony to remote offices using Microsoft Lync, to the implementation of an MPLS, to datacenter server and SAN upgrades. I have successfully managed multimillion dollars projects to upgrade workstations across the enterprise to Windows 7, and servers to Windows Server 2008 R2. Additionally, I have managed efforts to upgrade systems such as Microsoft’s Office suite, Internet Explorer, Exchange, SCCM and SCOM. I have a proven track record of delivering projects on time, on budget and to pre-defined scope. My personal passion for IT is manifested in my constant quest for knowledge through self-study, acquisition of pertinent certifications, participation in Linux communities and experimentation with cutting edge technology.
