About Scott Newman

I am a highly skilled digital professional with nearly 6 years of experience in the local government sector. My expertise includes website management, digital form creation, chatbot development and training, and business app development using Microsoft Power Apps. Throughout my career, I have been part of various digital transformation projects, resulting in increased efficiency and improved services for the council and its stakeholders. I am a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong passion for technology and its potential to transform organisations. In my current role, I have been responsible for managing the council's website and ensuring its content is up to date and accurate. I have also played a key role in converting paper-based forms to digital versions, streamlining the process for both staff and members of the public. In addition to my website and form creation skills, I have also developed and trained a chatbot for the council, which has proven to be an invaluable tool for answering frequently asked questions and directing users to relevant information. My skills with Microsoft Power Apps has allowed me to create custom solutions for the council, improving processes and reducing manual work.
