About Scott Orders

As a Coaches Recruiting Assistant for Oklahoma Football and a Finance major at the University of Oklahoma, I am passionate about blending my love for sports with my academic background in business. My role in recruiting allows me to see behind-the-scenes of what recruiting is really like in the N.I.L.(Name, Image, and Likeness) era, while my finance studies provide me with a strong foundation in business, strategy, and decision-making. In my three semesters as a student at the University of Oklahoma and my year of working for OU Football, I’ve developed key skills such as time management, performance under pressure, and maintaining a positive attitude while juggling multiple responsibilities. These experiences have not only strengthened my ability to handle challenges but also enhanced my capacity to adapt and thrive in fast-paced environments. My time working in sports has been incredibly rewarding, and I’m passionate about combining my interests in finance and sports. In the future, I hope to work on the financial side of sports, helping teams and organizations achieve long-term success.
