About Scott Redfern

My definition of success is enabling the people around me to grow both personally and professionally. When people feel that they’re growing and creativity is rewarded, then their contributions to the organization increase significantly. I have a passion for tackling the impacts of climate change, driving eco-restoration, addressing gender equity, and writing about my career journey. I'm also a voracious learner and I serve on the Board of Directors or Board of Advisors for 3 fantastic nonprofit organizations. I love to work in my gardens growing native plants for local birds & pollinators, and tending to a vegetable garden for our family. Backpacking is my escape in more ways than one. I've climbed the 67 tallest mountains in New England, 20 of the state high points, completed 2,047 miles of the 2,197-mile Appalachian Trail, and the CT section of the New England Trail. I’m a proven leader and coach, inspiring people to embrace change and achieve audacious goals, solving stubborn business problems, and driving innovative thinking. I’m proud of my reputation for bringing people together by creating a captivating “work family” culture where people learn, grow, and create. As a family, we embrace our cultural, gender, and philosophical diversity to create an incredible experience for our clients.
