About Scott Reimer

I joined the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in 2024 as a capital markets risk supervision specialist, focusing on asset quality reviews for commercial, CRE, and equipment financing portfolios at regional and community banks. I’ve lead efforts of assessing supervised banks loan review function, allowance methodologies, and stress testing approaches. Prior to this I was the credit risk oversight officer at Tompkins Financial for five years where I lead efforts for credit risk monitoring of all lending activities, reporting to the board of directors on a quarterly basis. My risk management career started within J.P. Morgan’s investment bank where I learned the quantitative skills of credit risk analysis while covering private equity firms, hedge funds, financial institutions, and REITs. I transitioned to PwC credit risk advisory where I was a subject matter expert in credit risk related engagements while improving my project management, leadership, and public speaking skills. My personal endeavors include skiing, farming, and renovating houses.
