QA Lead - responsible for leading and managing one or more teams of QA engineers (onshore and offshore) with a focus on quality, efficiency and scalability • Lead a team of onsite and offshore QA Engineers in testing (manually, automation, performance) any quality attribute (FURPS) that may be required (with a focus on functional testing) utilizing the best testing and SDLC practices • Work closely with other Team Leads and the QA Director to ensure alignment across the functional teams within QA • Leverage processes, tools, and user stories (requirements & acceptance criteria) to guide the team in test planning • Analyze new features in sprint user stories and determine potential impact to performance • Lead any required meetings/work to determine status and remove blockers for the team • Motivate the team to deliver on time with superior quality • Report accurate quality and risk information to stakeholders • Regularly report overall project status, including test case execution statistics and defect status • Manage QA testing tools and assist team with training on these tools • Evolve, Update, and Maintain QA processes and coach team on QA best practices • Manage release process for sprints and production hot fixes • Advocate for quality in every interaction and adhere to QA best practices
