About Scott Rogerson

With over 15 years of archaeological experience in Canada and abroad, I am a Partner and Vice President Environment at Synergy Land and Environmental Ltd, a leading environmental and cultural heritage consulting firm. I hold two professional credentials: Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA) and Professional Member of the British Columbia Association of Professional Archaeologists (RPCA). I also have permits in several jurisdictions across Canada, allowing me to conduct archaeological assessments and evaluations in various contexts and landscapes. As a leader of a multidisciplinary team, I deliver complex and large-scale projects for clients in the energy, mining, forestry, and infrastructure sectors. My core competencies include project management, growth strategy, online presence building, and corporate development. I have successfully completed environmental and social impact assessments, Aboriginal engagement, traditional land use, ecological knowledge studies, and community consultation. I have also contributed to the development and expansion of Synergy's business, client base, and reputation, both locally and internationally. My mission is to help clients achieve their goals while minimizing their environmental and cultural footprint and enhancing their social license to operate.
