Currently serving as Chief Counsel for DLA Energy, the Major Subordinate Command within DLAresponsible for bulk supply chain management of petroleum products, as well as installation energy and utilities privatization for DoD. Leading a team of 18 legal professionals, I serve as principal legal advisor on a full range of services to the DLA Energy command team including:*contract disputes and bid protests *international agreements and taxation *labor and employment *infrastructure and environmental *ethics *procurement integrityIn total, 35 years of experience providing legal services to DoD, including:*14 years on active duty handling criminal litigation, environmental litigation, administrative and civil law in the U.S. Army JAG Corp, serving at the brigade, division, and departmental level.*20 years working in the DLA Office of General Counsel working on international and operational, environmental, and adminitrative issues.*Former member of the law faculty for The United States Military Academy at West Point.Leadership experience includes 5 years as Chief Counsel for the Defense National Stockpile Center, serving as Deputy Team Chief of International and Operational Law, Chief of Administrative and Civil Law, and as well as my current position as Chief Counsel for DLA Energy.
