About Scott Root

Scott is the Area Manager for Time Staffing, responsible for the Northeastern Region. He has held this position since May of 2015. Scott has been with Time Staffing since January 2002. Previously, he served as an Outside Staffing Specialist, Branch Manager and Business Development Manager. He is also a Certified Staffing Professional, a certification obtained from the American Staffing Association in regards to labor and employment law. Scott was born and raised in Fremont, Ohio. He graduated from Fremont Ross High School and then went on to further his education at Terra State Community College where he earned both an Associate of Applied Business degree in Business Management and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Total Quality Management. He has been featured on the Terra State website as a local success story. Scott is very involved in the community taking an active role in many clubs and organizations, including the American Staffing Association, Ohio Staffing and Search Association, Sandusky County Human Resource Management Association and Sandusky County Safety Council. He is also a member of the Erie, Ottawa, and Sandusky County Chambers of Commerce. At the Sandusky County Chamber, he has served as a Chamber Ambassador, Chairman of the Ambassadors Group, and has played an integral role on the Membership and Marketing Committee. He is a 2011 Leadership Sandusky County graduate, and now serves on the LSC Board of Directors, also assisting with the Youth Leadership program. He has also volunteered as a coach for the local Upward Basketball, YMCA Basketball, Fremont Recreation basketball and Pee Wee Football programs in Fremont. Scott's overall knowledge of the industry, his ability to think creatively, resolve conflict, and customize staffing solutions for his customers has made him a leader in the industry and allowed him to develop strong relationships that have contributed to his success in the field.
