I’ve worked in the health care industry for 24 years. Most of my career – 16 years – has been spent managing and marketing behavioral health hospitals. I also served for two years as director of marketing for a home health agency. In the course of my career, I have overseen hospital operations, initiated and implemented operational changes, managed and recruited staff, developed strategic marketing plans, grown census and ensured compliance with state and federal regulations. My strengths include fiscal management, contract negotiation, process improvement and team building. I have worked in, and developed a wide range of contacts in multiple cities and parishes across Louisiana and Mississippi. These include: Ascension, Assumption, Baton Rouge, Feliciana, Iberville, Jefferson, Lafourche, Livingston, Orleans, St. James, St. John, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa and Terrebonne parishes, as well as Houma, Lafayette, Lake Charles, Metairie, Shreveport and Slidell, LA, and Biloxi and Hattiesburg, MS.
