About Scott Shaw

I am an employee benefits professional who takes pride in helping my clients and their families understand the value of Supplemental Insurance. In addition I assist employers attract and retain valuable employees by offering benefits to their employees to give them peace of mind. I am a Certified Protection Professional and a Certified Business Continuity Planner. I gained experience with the US State Department, US Secret Service, Lucent Technologies, and American International Group, Inc. and Aflac. I served as the Regional Security Officer in Italy, Russia, and at the US Mission to the United Nations. I was a special agent in New York and Washington, DC protecting our nation’s leaders. I also had assignments in Italy, Turkey, Somalia, Mexico, El Salvador, Brazil, India, Korea and China. In short, I’ve served in every continent except for the Antarctic. I have a BA in International Relations from California State University, Sacramento and a MBA from Baruch College. I served as missionary in Seoul, Korea learning their language and culture. In my 42 years of work experience, it has been my honor to serve our great country, community and people who entrusted their trust and confidence in my skill sets.
