I am a strong analytical problem solver, as I have had to develop creative solutions to complex problems on a daily basis as a researcher. I can take command of a situation when necessary, and my extensive written and oral communication skills have helped me clearly convey to my team members and others what the nature and significance of my work is. I have a strong passion for anything having to do with space, although most of my experience is in space physics and magnetospheres. I participated in the 2013 Solar and Space Physics REU over the summer, continuing the project I worked on as an undergraduate research assistant. Eventually I intend to direct my efforts toward facilitating the privatization of the space industry and improving the quality of future space exploration missions.
