I bring a unique background of strong retail store leadership experience, combined with 10+ years as a Human Resources Professional, including multisite – regional accountabilities. My passion lies in helping others reach their career goals, and in doing so, supporting my company in its mission to grow their business and provide outstanding service to the customers they have the honor to serve. Areas of expertise include Employee Relations, Retention and Employee Engagement; Talent Management, and Training and Development. I have experience in several retail arenas including discount retailing, the department store environment, and the specialty clothing industry. In my current role with Walmart, I have the privilege of being part of an Operational team for the number one retailer in the world. I love the fact that Walmart's driving principles are: respect for the individual; outstanding service to both the internal and external customer; and striving for excellence in all we do. These cornerstones that were laid down by Sam Walton himself are key to what has made Walmart so successful. During me time off, I enjoy going on hikes with my wife and our two dogs; camping together as a family with our two kids, spending time with friends at our church, and playing hockey with guys like me that just play it for the love of the game. My motto is that each day is a gift; I need to treat each one as such!
