About Scott Slaughter

Over the course of my career, I've worked in both telecom service provider and solution provider environments with a track record of success delivering multiple concurrent telecommunications projects in fast-paced environments. As a telecommunications professional, I have led and managed projects for large and small telecom service providers, solution providers, and enterprise customers across several geographies, Leading matrix and cross-functional technical teams in VoIP and broadband infrastructure deployments and network transformations is central to my skill set. Most recently, I was a Senior Project Manager at Calix, where I led cross functional teams of on-site and remote Calix engineers, operations professionals, and contractors in site development and broadband equipment installation and testing. I delivered hundreds of projects as part of the Calix partnership with Century Link under the Connect America Fund—a federal program that subsidizes internet service to rural customers. Prior to that, I worked at Nortel, where I delivered a succession of multimillion-dollar VoIP network deployment projects to carrier customers. In all of my roles, I’ve been committed to solving complex problems, and I’m often tapped to right the ship in the midst of unpredictable and volatile organizational conditions—a skill I developed as a Captain in the US Army.
