About Scott Stead

No cold sales calls or emails. I've spent my career of almost two decades in television providing production and engineering support for CNN and WarnerMedia (now WBD) enabling show teams and clients to do whatever they need to do to safely, securely and efficiently create world class content for consumers. Currently an IT Supervisor with CNN I manage a team of dedicated IT professionals to ensure that the needs of the 600+ employees in our building, plus secure remote sites are met. I support daily production, broadcast infrastructure, special events and massive multi-million dollar projects, ensuring that they all go off without a hitch. I collaborate daily with stake holders across many business units with different needs (functional, privacy/security/confidentiality), systems owners and colleagues in other cities while wearing many hats (asset management, project management, people management, information security specialist and systems administrator). And I love every minute of it. In my spare time I read a lot about and dabble in new media, social media, ChatGPT, AI, blockchain technologies and forensics, philosophy, leadership theory and futurism.
