About Scott Stevenson

I am a family oriented man and believe in respect and honesty. A client to me becomes family and as a result you can expect me to be there during good times as well as more challenging times. Families look out for each other and I will always have your best interest in mind. I was born and raised in Cumberland, Maryland and live there today. I have been married for 24 years and have two sons who are the pride of my life. I have coached various athletic teams over the years and started the first travel baseball team in the area. For the past 9 years have been an assistant baseball coach at Fort Hill High School. I started in the insurance industry as a debit life insurance agent with Home Beneficial Life Insurance before being offered a career position with Keller Stonebraker Insurance in 1997. I have enjoyed my sales position and have never thought of a career change and with the formation of Blue Ridge Risk Partners will provide additional resources for not only myself but also my clients. I have seen the company I work for grow from 25 employees to now over 160! Talk about family growth! LOL. During my professional career I have volunteered to serve on several boards that include the following-Dapper Dan Club -Rotary Club - Western Maryland Food Bank (President)-Western Maryland Chapter of Red Cross - KELCO Federal Credit Union (Secretary)-Human Resources Development Commission (HRDC)-Council for Exception Children and Adults These organizations are all different but also similar in that they all believe that the clients and customers they serve are second to none. I try to take a little bit of each one of these organizations values and apply to my work but honestly the bottom line is the customer comes first. When you read my profile or accept my business card you will see that I am a Senior Account Executive but what does that mean? This simply means that I have been in the business for several years, i.e. Senior, and the Account Executive means that I will handle your account after it is placed in my control by your decision to do business with me.
