About Scott Storts

I work with IT leaders to realize strategic alignment through the utilization of people, processes and tools. I enjoy the challenge associated with the investigation and identification of strategic solutions while contributing to organizational development. Such challenges present opportunities to work with people across the organization to build team concensus and mature the organizational culture. This is accomplished through the utilization of my knowledge of COBIT, ITIL, capability maturity models and Six Sigma to augment governance, performance and process improvement solutions. It is my responsibility to present to leadership topics that they may not expect or wish to hear in order to make informed decisions. Such a position requires the ability to build trust, to communicate in various formats, to influence and to think at a strategic level. It is also my responsibility to engage teams across the organization to assist in the implementation of approved solutions. This requires the ability to not only communicate, but to plan, manage and engage in team-building and education.
