About Scott Stukes

I bring over 12 years of experience in transportation and logistics, gained through both military service in the U.S. Air Force and civilian roles. This field has become a true passion for me—I take pride in the hard work and dedication required to ensure the efficient movement of people and goods to those who need them, whether directly or indirectly. My strong drive and adaptability allow me to meet goals and deadlines while building positive relationships with internal teams and external partners.After transitioning from the Air Force, I joined the railroad industry as an Amtrak passenger conductor and later earned a Bachelor of Science in Technical Management. Today, I serve as Lead Transportation Planning Specialist at Amtrak’s Holgate Mechanical Facility in Seattle. In this role, I lead interdepartmental coordination for the Airo Facilities Plan program at Washington Union Station, managing phased construction while maintaining daily operations for the Southeast Division. I play a key role in minimizing and mitigating operational impacts caused by facility modifications, ensuring seamless railroad operations in and around the vicinity.
