Scott is a technology leader supported by experience across Transportation, Government, Financial Services, Banking, Telecommunication and Construction sectors encompassing software engineering, systems engineering, mechanical systems implementation/integration, and IT Infrastructure. He has excellent technical knowledge from both a business and technology point of view and this underpins his ability to work closely with both technical and business functions at all levels of the organisation. He has managed both large scale software engineering and infrastructure projects and programs using technical resources both onshore and offshore. Scott currently leads a large APAC based team with a focus on delivering complex programmes of work across the region while also growing and nurturing high performing technical teams. Key areas of expertise: • Direct management of systems, software engineers, DevOps and technical delivery resources both onshore and offshore • Adept at working with clients and stakeholders at various levels from operational staff to executive management, both technical and business-focused. • Preparation of proposals and RFT responses including estimates, scheduling, pricing and delivery assumptions. • Ability to define and make recommendations in relation to strategy and business planning, organisational assessment, transformation activists and development, business process re-engineering, compliance and risk management and driving the delivery of agreed strategy. • Working knowledge of large back-office systems, IOT devices cloud-based and on-prem systems • Experienced in transit payment systems including closed-loop and open-loop EMV models • Technologist with working knowledge of Azure, DevOps, API’s and analytics • Direct management of both CAPEX and OPEX budgets. • Vendor and technology assessment & vendor management. • Contract preparation and commercial negotiation. • Solid understanding of how technology contributes to driving business value. • Experienced executive and external stakeholder manager. • Experienced in leading and delivering programmes using Agile and waterfall methodologies • Project and Programme recovery and stabilisation. • Team leadership and development including the motivation and performance management of high performing individuals and teams CPEng - IEAust, EngExec - IEAust, FIEAust PMI Certified - PMP,Prince 2 Practioner, MSP - Foundation, ITIL - Foundation, SAFe Agilist
