About Scott Tomashek

As Senior Vice President of AV Strategy, my role covers many diverse areas of expertise. Engineering: After doing sales for a few years, I started focusing on the engineering of the opportunities for the company. I worked on my own leads, but more and more found myself engineering and providing technical guidance to other sales people. I moved to a full time AV engineer, then was promoted to head of engineering as our team grew. I've designed projects from the smallest single room systems to multi-million dollar corporate and education projects. Strategic Planning: In the 13 years with the company, out team has grown from 9 to 45 members. In that time I've been driven to find better and more eicient ways to provide solutions to our customers. This has involved reviewing the software platforms and tools we use, the processes and procedures to produce solutions to complex problems, and the training of sta necessary to keep pursuing our vision of being a leader in AV technology. Leadership: Currently I share the leadership of the AV division with our SVP of Operations. We are responsible for overseeing the achieving sales goals, providing quality projects for our customers, staing evaluations, and casting vision for our preferred future as a division and organization. Training and Education: As a former teacher, training is important to pursue for myself, and to provide for my team. I've provided numerous internal training session of various topics of AV technology. I have served in the past as an adjunct instructor for Avixa at the InfoComm trade show. I'm always eager to learn new concepts and ways of doing things. I believe my strongest ability is to see the immediate issues and challenges within the context of a much larger picture. I've been able to balance the small details against the primary vision. This has led to creative insights and solutions that are both unique and eective.
