About Scott Tranter

As I have gone through life, I have developed a few passions. I have a passion for people, golf, travel, hiking & camping, wildlife, and a more unconventional passion - doing things that scare me. I have skydived, went cage diving with great white sharks in Australia and South Africa, swam with whale sharks in Mexico, trekked in the mountainous jungles in Uganda with gorillas, explored the jungles of Belize in search of Mayan ruins, searched for crocodiles and venomous snakes in the outback of Australia, and went paragliding off Lion's Head mountain in Cape Town. I like to do things that are fulfilling, fun, adventurous, and growth-oriented. I apply this same philosophy in my professional life. We spend a lot of time at work and with the people we work with, so having great people on the team, a fun atmosphere, and work that is fulfilling and keeps us growing and learning is important. My other philosophy. don't be "HR-y". I take pride in being a partner, creating great, long-lasting relationships, being approachable and easy to talk to, listening, and providing guidance or coaching. Coming to talk to HR doesn't need to be scary, doesn't mean someone is getting fired, and it doesn't have to be because you have a problem. Come by to chat!
