SCOTT’S career began in international advertising, overseeing dozens of commercial productions and culminating with him being one of the leads responsible for SONY PlayStation's $100m worldwide advertising account based in London. Then, after running his own agency, winning a client roster of some of the world's most high profile youth and lifestyle brands including the global launch of Xbox, Scott transitioned into writing and directing feature films. In 2011, Scott began researching THE FROZEN GROUND. Securing life rights for both the key people involved and being the first person the main survivor and witness trusted to ever tell her terrifying experience to, Scott made his writing and directing debut with THE FROZEN GROUND. The film stars Nicolas Cage, John Cusack and Vanessa Hudgens. It received a Golden Reel Award nomination and was selected to premier in top international film festivals including Cinemania Film Festival Belgrade, Deauville International Film Festival and the Ischia International Film Festival. It was released theatrically in the US by Lionsgate and in more than 25 countries internationally in 2013/14. In 2020 it was acquired and released by Netflix US, and within 3 days, became their #1 most watched film. In 2022, Quentin Tarantino called it "the best serial killer film, I've seen in years!" In May, 2024 it again peaked on Netflix at #7 Most Watched Film globally and Top 10 in 21 countries with 3.4 million audience views in 7 days. Scott was hired to write THE BANKER - a true story drug cartel film about one of the largest sting operations in DEA history for Academy Award winning producer, Barrie Osborne (LORD OF THE RINGS, MATRIX). Scott has also written and will direct BULLET BLOOD WILD - a werewolf horror-comedy with Academy Award nominated and BAFTA Award winning producer, John J. Kelly (INTO THE WILD, 127 HOURS, DEADPOOL) and WETA Workshop. Scott recently completed creature horror THE TANK in New Zealand which was released in the US becoming #2 on AppleTV US’s Top Horror Movie Chart and praised for ’80s-inspired horror style.#1 Most Popular Trailer for 14 straight days on AppleTV Trailers. Scott has also consulted and created a diverse range of branded entertainment projects spanning global wildlife conservation, lifestyle to financial services and including feature films and both celebrity driven unscripted, and scripted episodic television.
