About Scott Wallace

I am the National Capital Region Occupational and Environmental Medicine Product Line Lead, Deputy and a requirements manager for OPNAV staff. Most recently I served as the Occupational and Environmental Medicine Clinic Department Chair for the military’s premier medical center, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Previously I was the Navy's flight surgeon for the Pentagon. I am the DoD’s FAA Senior Aviation Medical Examiner. I was previously stationed with the Marines in Camp Pendleton and MCAS Miramar. I have spent several years in neurosurgery residency after completing a general surgery internship. I conduct ongoing research in return to duty rates, workman’s compensation claims, and the Navy’s emerging en route care capabilities.
