About Scott Warren

After almost twenty years, I still feel excited when new circuit board assemblies roll off our production line and into our clients’ hands. Our clients are entrepreneurs and innovators, risk takers and dreamers, disrupters of markets with radically new technology, business models, and engaging brands. Each circuit board assembly, a precise structure of fiberglass, copper, silver, tin, and dozens to hundreds of tiny components, is the heart and soul of their product, the manifestation of an idea, the embodiment of hundreds of hours of meticulous engineering to achieve multiple specific, often competing, objectives. And I helped make it happen. I have almost twenty years of experience in analog and digital hardware engineering, firmware development, printed circuit board design, electronic manufacturing, and business development. I thrive when I’m forging creative solutions to our clients’ tough technical problems. I can synthesize multiple streams of information into a cohesive whole. And I’m always learning. I founded Liberate Electronic Design six years ago with one objective: to remove the barriers to entry that hardware startups face when bringing new products to market. We are the hub of the wheel coordinating and anchoring multiple disciplines: • Business strategy • Marketing and product specification • Electronic engineering and circuit design • Component selection and supply chain management • Circuit board design with an emphasis on Design for Manufacturing • Mechanical engineering and 3D modeling • Firmware and software development • Electronic manufacturing. With our leadership in electronic design and manufacturing, multiple clients have successfully launched dozens of new products.
