About Scott Wasmer
I have worked in a variety of aviation maintenance positions for the past 21 years after leaving the US Navy, where I got my start. I original experience and training was in avionics. I have experience in everything from systems to component level alignment, adjustment, troubleshooting and repair. This journey has lead me to a wide variety of jobs where I have gotten a lot of management experience including Director of Maintenance for a Part 135 Operator, Maintenance Manager overseeing more than 100 employees at six separate, remote bases, Part 145 Repair Station Accountable Manager, small business owner, and college professor at a Part 147 school. I am currently working in primarily part 91 aircraft maintenance and avionics. I also have a lot of experience in part 23/25 aircraft, particularly King Air, Lear Jet and Citation. I am looking to leverage the excellent training and experience I have and provide consulting, training, etc. to people - help solve their problems and pass on what was so freely given to me, to others.
