About Scott Williamson

I have been working in the medical devices industry for almost a decade and prior to that have worked with clients and customers in sales and service roles throughout my earlier career. I am a natural people person with the ability to form lasting relationships with my client group whether that be patients, support staff or medical professionals. Success in my current role requires a high degree of empathy, understanding and autonomy as well as a high degree of technical knowledge to ensure our patients and customers receive the right support and service. I'm confident in learning new skills, supporting colleagues and customers and I have also developed considerable experience in the provision of training and development opportunities to large audiences e.g, nursing staff. I'm passionate about achieving excellence in my role and have focused on driving incremental gains and improvements in any role, whether that be sales performance, margin and profitability growth or service excellence. Whilst my current role is service focused, I have also been successful in acquiring and developing new business as a result of the relationships I've nurtured. I have been in an individual contributor role now for a number of years but have always operated as a SME within the team, ensuring I support colleagues in training, development, upskilling and issue resolution. As my career continues, I'm very keen to explore opportunities that further this ability and provide longer term opportunities as an individual contributor or aspiring people leader.
