Worked in the automotive industry since graduating high school, learned business directly by working beside my father Mark Wilson in our family business since 2004. Along with my brothers helped grow our family business From small mom and pop shop to the biggest used car dealership in Ontario. Learning almost every position in the company and working side by side with our dedicated employees ensured my effectiveness as a manager at various levels knowing what both sides truly want and care about and helping both achieve their goals. One key to effective management is understanding you work for your employees, helping them realize their potential, their dreams, where they see themselves going and understanding that their role regardless of level is key to our companies success. What is success? The progressive realization of a worthy goal. For me that was growing my fathers and grand father’s business, making our Wilson family name synonymous with Honest business practices, ask a Guelph resident where should I look for a car? And I’ll guarantee you’ll be told “go to Wilson’s” My new goal is bring the same enthusiasm and principles to Auto Canada and learn from like minded co workers from around the nation!
