About Scott Young

Dr. Scott Young is a chiropractor and Director of Whole Body Cryotherapy at Cold Rush Wellness. He specializes in Gonstead adjusting, a biomechanically correct type of chiropractic. This no-nonsense, find-it, fix-it, leave-it-alone approach has been proven effective and yields fast results in reducing pain and restoring health. He studied at Cal State Fullerton (degree in Biology) and attained his doctorate of chiropractic at Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. He helped develop chiropractic in The Netherlands when he opened one of the first chiropractic practices in Amsterdam and managed it for 20 years. He developed ACT or AlphaSwitch Cryostimulation Technique, which is a cryotherapy technique designed to maximize the effects of cryostimulation. Cold Rush Wellness uses this technique with both Whole Body Cryostimulation (WBC) and Local Cryostimulation. This technique has been showing promising results in the treatment of concussions as well as other injuries and illnesses. He authored the book “AlphaSwitch Life” which has led to guest lecture opportunities at various institutions such as USC. The book explains how to become cellularly fit through the daily application of five specific adaptogens. His other interests include world travel, diet, exercise and meditation.
