About Scotty Sinclair

My skill in both abstract and applied problem solving comes from a deeply motivating sense of curiosity and a love for understanding how things work. I am a professional educator and mathematician, and I'm currently studying Chemistry and Biology with the goal of becoming a researcher in chemical biology. In addition to this, I have a diverse set of interests and hobbies including botany, entomology, ecological conservation, queer fashion, fitness, mathematical modeling, brewing science, and guitar to name a few. In an academic society that expects specialization as the standard, my dedication to intersecting fields and a holistic multidisciplinary perspective stands out. The un researched intersections of the scientific fields today are the hotbeds of new knowledge and industry. Before electrical engineering enabled the construction of modern computers, the field of computer science was once considered math. Before Einstein developed general relativity, the non-Euclidean geometries he used to model our universe were thought up in the minds of mathematicians. Though the free electron laser is built and the birth of attochemistry is begun, we had to build the particle accelerator and understand the chemical properties of matter in the first place.
