About Scout Mitchell

Being a team manager at a large wealth management firm is almost exactly what you think it is like. I am lucky enough to be someone that everyone wants to connect with, but no one wants to do the job. If something needs to be done in a pinch and it requires high attention to detail and critical thinking, I'm the gal to get it done for you! Everyone knows this, and I love being the person to enjoy using my personal time and effort to do great work. On top of that, I'm lucky enough to be passionate about being organized and developing others to make their lives easier. Even outside of work, I am more than willing to put myself out there and take on additional tasks to ensure that everyone is taken care of, and my work life is no different. I spend my days looking at my colleagues efficiencies and finding out how I can close in on their gaps to make them the best that they can be. I say I am lucky though, because my team is my grounding point, and I couldn't be more grateful for them. They have helped me develop my purpose as a leader. I take care and respect them for their willingness to learn and grow, and I expect that they do the same for me. At the core, I'm just a midwest girl that's living her life in the desert. I spend my free time working on my Masters of Business Administration with an emphasis in Leadership, hanging out with my animals (Puppy: Nora and Cat: Gepetto), and exploring my new city with my family. I will bend over backwards to make sure they're taken care of, and will always make sacrifices for them. Whether that's staying up until midnight to work on my homework late because they needed assistance with their everyday life tasks, or even moving across the country to help them pursue their dreams. So what exactly has all of this taught me? You can't have enough salt in the desert.
