About Sd Farmer

As a Project Manager, I draw on my extensive experience in ship construction/repair and project management to deliver high-quality results on time. With a strong background in integrated electrical and mechanical systems, I graduated as a 1st Class Marine Electrician from the Naval Sea Systems Command NAVSEA. I am also multi-trade trained, which further enhances my ability to manage complex projects. Work closely with industry peers and take a hands-on approach to support craft expertise, overseeing production activities for assigned projects. I am responsible for project profitability and manage all aspects of ship repair projects, serving as the primary customer interface throughout the project lifecycle. I coordinate labor and material application with project team members to ensure timely delivery of VFI, GFI, and material installation in alignment with program management and production plans. Additionally, I resolve issues with subcontractors and provide internal performance reports to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
