Here are some of my highlights over the past 8 years-Moved entire datacenter from 5th floor to 2nd floor -Created disaster recovery infrastructure in AWS -Migrated public facing webserver to AWS -Migrated entire agency dns and email from ncuc.net to ncuc.gov -Migrated data from old san to new san -Migrated Data domain backup data to new Data domain -Installed 10GB switch and separate vlan setup for san & backup traffic -Completed multiple upgrades of esxi and vcenter. Started on esxi 5.5, now on esxi 8 -Upgraded/replaced all vmware Dell host hardware -Upgraded/replaced physical domain controller to new hardware -Upgraded every vm server from server 2008 to server 2016. Upgrade from 2016 to 2022 is planned-Migrated all mailboxes from on premise exchange to M365 -Completed a re-IP of entire network during pandemic -Completed rollout of laptops to all users during pandemic. Previously used desktops -Rolled out voip phone system including voip vlan, phones, auto attendants, and hunt groups -Migrated all legacy on premise file server shares to M365 sharepoint -Remediated M365 tenant to meet the requirements of the State of NC email policy
