About Sean Barnett

I am a mechanical engineering student at Pensacola Christian College who is eager to learn, grow, and apply what I have learned to the best of my ability towards whatever tasks I have before me. I am told that I have a persevering and teachable spirit with a strong desire to create and innovate.Currently I am a senior by credit and year, just completing my Junior year according to my plan of study with a 2.89 GPA. As of the fall semester of 2018, I joined an extracurricular engineering design competition in which teams design and build a remote controlled vehicle with a limited budget that compete in a tug of war, and drag race in that years spring semester competition. I also have experience in using Word, Excel, Auto CAD and Solid Works.I volunteer on campus in three capacities. First, as a prayer leader for a men’s prayer group in which I ensure that meetings are meaningful, and focused. Also, as prayer leader I record and journal prayer request. Second, I am a member of the puppet ministry at the Campus Church where I help plan script, design, and create props. Together as a team we perform our puppet shows for children displaying biblical principles, and historical events. Third, I am an usher for the twenty-three and older Sunday school classes where I helped set up and take down the key board, prepared the room with proper lighting, and handed out and collected attendance forms.My favorite sports activities on campus include kayaking, sailing on a 2 man craft, and rock climbing. I also enjoy biking, swimming, jogging, Karate, learning new things, and acquiring new skills.
