Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a consistently successful track record within high speed digital ASIC design. I have a professional and thorough approach and have built a reputation, with some pride, for regularly delivering against aggressive schedules. I have frequently demonstrated a willingness to operate outside the conventional ‘comfort zone’ of a pure digital designer, having gained significant experience in customer facing roles and have thrived on the wide range of disciplines required for modern, very high speed, low power mixed signal designs. I would like to stress that, alongside a thoroughness to my work which necessarily accompanies production designs, I also think that one of my greatest strengths is knowing how to navigate an efficient and effective path through aggressive schedules to early prototypes for customer demonstrations, frequently with immature silicon processes (currently at 40nm), incomplete information or analysis and drawing heavily on engineering judgement. I am very personable, flexible and work equally well within a team, alone as a self managing sole contributor or as a team leader.
